Challenge the perceptions about self-promotion and overcome self-limiting beliefs.
We sometimes have a hard time celebrating our achievements and promoting ourselves. But self-promotion is key if you want to give others a view into what drives your passions, connect with people who can appreciate your talents, and create opportunities for you to grow. In this interactive workshop, you will participate in group discussions and exercises to develop the confidence and skills to promote yourself effectively. During the 90 min session we will:
#IAmRemarkable is an initiative empowering women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond, thereby breaking modesty norms and glass ceilings. We talk about representation to shine the spotlight on the challenges around diversity, equality, and inclusion. We usually tell stories from personal experience. Self-promotion isn’t just about one story. It shows others what’s possible when our stories unite us.
